Challenge

The client was looking to grow sales within two key segments: Aftermarket Repair & Transformer and Electrical OEM. The channel solution needed to increase engagement from top suppliers and drive eCommerce sales. The reward needed to provide a blend of networking, adventure, and surprise and delight moments for attendees.

Solution

To drive measurable revenue growth, the team designed a customer incentive program centered on motivating both purchasing behaviors and sales engagement. Incremental revenue goals were established as the foundation, with “extra credit” opportunities built in to reward strategic supplier purchases and e-commerce transactions.

The program also integrated the client’s sales team, setting clear sales goals and awarding additional credit for enrolling new customers. This dual approach ensured alignment between customer activity and internal sales efforts, maximizing impact across both sides of the business.

To recognize success, qualifying customers and sales team members were rewarded with a four-night travel experience in Los Cabos. The incentive trip was designed not only as a reward, but also as an opportunity to strengthen relationships. Carefully curated activities on both land and sea offered memorable networking experiences that deepened connections.

Results

The program successfully aligned customer and sales team objectives, generating incremental revenue while strengthening supplier and e-commerce channels. Participation from the sales team drove higher levels of customer enrollment, ensuring broad engagement across the program.

The Los Cabos experience proved to be a powerful motivator and reward. Attendees not only celebrated their achievements but also built stronger partnerships through exclusive networking opportunities.
